Senior Mechanical Engineer

to join a world-renowned Industrial / Manufacturing firm located in Grimsby. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the production equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Client Details

Manages small projects, either capital or expense. Resource for the maintenance supervisors regarding high level troubleshooting. Plays an active role in developing maintenance budgets. Analyses maintenance cost to find opportunities for improvement. Performs engineering design calculations as needed for maintenance team. Specialist resource to assist in the management of reactive maintenance repair issues. Develops SOW for the Reliability and Projects teams to investigate and execute longer term remedies. Assists the Maintenance Coordinator in improving the execution of scheduled maintenance tasks. Skilled in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment. Revise and create maintenance procedures. Profile

A successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer should have: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation, preferably IOSH/NEBOSH Certificate. Proven experience in an Industrial / Manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues. Strong team collaboration skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills. Job Offer
