Assystem has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Tanks to join our expanding Fusion and Modular Nuclear (FMN) business unit. As leaders in the design and development of new technologies, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple cutting-edge projects developing technical solutions making net-zero power generation a reality. Innovative Tank Design:

Lead the design of multiple tanks for the Rolls-Royce SMR power station, leveraging cutting-edge technology to meet complex and demanding requirements. On-Time Delivery:

Create conceptual tank designs on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality using industry-standard design codes. Supply Chain Collaboration:

Act as the Intelligent Customer, working closely with the supply chain to deliver detailed designs and manufacturing solutions. Engineering Leadership:

Proven track record in effectively managing engineers and leading technical teams. Technical Communication:

Excellent verbal skills for clear and concise technical communication. High-Quality Documentation:

Expertise in producing, reviewing, and approving top-quality technical documents. Risk Management:

Skilled in preparing comprehensive Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Work Pack Preparation:

Experience in assembling detailed and effective work packs. Decommissioning Expertise:

Valuable experience in decommissioning processes is welcomed. Regulated Industry Experience:

MY PROFILE

Experienced

Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role, ready to drive innovation and excellence. Collaborative

team player with a knack for transforming concepts into reality through engineering teamwork. Proficient

in 2D CAD systems like AutoCAD for creating precise and detailed drawings. Skilled

in 3D CAD/BIM systems (Revit, Inventor, Solidworks, Solid Edge, Siemens NX, PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar) for crafting dynamic models and drawings. Professionally qualified

in an engineering-related field, bringing expertise and technical prowess. Security:

BPSS and SC required. Travel Ready:

Ability to travel to Assystem offices and customer sites within the UK. Global Impact:
