Our client is a long-established business that specializes in all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services. Due to the continued success of their business, they are now looking to appoint a full-time Mechanical Estimator.
Their Estimating Department has a wealth of experience, drive, resilience, and passion and is looking forward to welcoming a Mechanical Estimator to their team. Full training and ongoing support are provided to the right applicant. The role will involve a full range of duties and responsibilities, which will include:
Assessing tender documentation requirements and preparing a tender proposal Identifying potential risks and opportunities Regular liaison with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers Obtaining and reviewing offers and quotes from subcontractors Daily administration duties to support the daily requirements of the department
The successful applicant will have worked in the Building Services sector, have a good understanding of Mechanical Building Services, and be looking to build a career within the mechanical building services industry. Other attributes that we are looking for include:
Knowledge of mechanical building services and HVAC systems Excellent IT Skills to include Word/Excel Excellent communication and organization skills A professional, positive, and enthusiastic approach A good team player Self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude
