This International M&E Contractor, specialising in Infrastructure Projects, is looking for experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join their Project Management team in London. You will be based on Project Sites across London and in the office in EC4 (with one day a week from home). Your remit will be to provide mechanical engineering project expertise through all project stages including tendering, design, installation, testing and commissioning. As a Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for the management of Mechanical Packages ensuring successful delivery from a HSE, programme, quality, compliance and commercial perspective. As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer you will get the opportunity to work within a variety of sectors including Rail (Overground & Underground), Highways, Water & Energy. Successful candidates will have worked on large, UK Based, Construction & Installation Projects. They will be able to demonstrate experience of Undertaking Mechanical design review in line with current standards and to ensure buildability and constructability. They will also be able to, when necessary, undertake Mechanical design (tunnel ventilation, HVAC, pumped systems etc) including design checks. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate experience of managing the delivery of Mechanical Packages from design buildability phase right through to the commissioning phase.
