Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of Warehouse Automation & Software products that are looking to bring a mechanically biased Senior Project Engineer to work on projects nationally. Responsibilities

Overseeing all aspects of project engineering for the integration of Warehouse Automation projects.

Creating detailed designs to meet customer specifications ready for translation into engineering solutions using AutoCAD software.

Carrying out all related calculations and risk assessments to ensure that all designs align with technical and safety requirement standards.

Organizing and running design review meetings for review and development of solutions.

Working closely with the sales, projects, and technical teams throughout each stage of the project, producing all relevant documentation when required.

Attending sites nationally as and when required.

Requirements

Our client is ideally looking for an individual with a strong mechanical design background working within Warehouse Automation. This isn’t essential; however, they are also open to candidates who have mechanical design experience working within capital equipment or other types of automation with strong AutoCAD skills. It is vital for the role that you hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification. The position will be mostly working from home, but there will be a requirement to attend the office in the East Midlands once per week. You must hold a full UK driver’s license as there will be an expectation to travel to customer sites around the country.
