7200-OTHLOC-C9KwYfw7 Description This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the foundational team, building up and shaping the Medical Affairs team in UK. This role will lead the short- and long-term medical strategy of the UK affiliate, ensuring the creation of value both internally and externally, the generation and communication of scientific evidence, aligned with the objectives and priorities of local business being at same time a permanent member of the local leadership team and co-leading strategy design and execution. Responsibilities Set and align the annual objectives of the Medical Affairs Department. Develop medical plans for the generation of scientific evidence and medical engagement. Maintain medical-scientific excellence standards and develop talent. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and co-creation. Ensure medical training needs and projects of the affiliate are met. Conduct pre-launch training sessions. Build a map of current and future key HCPs. Generate and share medical insights. Develop long-term partnerships with the healthcare ecosystem for better disease management and patient outcomes. Review and approve promotional materials and activities in accordance with corporate compliance and local regulations. Act as the point of contact with Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information, and Compliance. Requirements Previous experience in Therapeutic Areas such as Neurological Disorders, Respiratory Disorders, and/or rare or orphan conditions is desirable. Proven track record of contribution to medical strategies and new launches. Strong understanding of clinical development and study management, as well as real-world evidence generation plans and practices. Familiarity with GCP and regulations of promotional materials. Medical signature required. Knowledge of clinical trial design, statistics, and pharmacokinetics. Understanding of business principles and strategies. Experience leading cross-business/cross-functional planning and execution. Solid peer relationships with external scientific/clinical experts, regulatory bodies, and pharma associations; demonstrated ability to engage internal and external leaders as a medical expert.
