The base (either Bronglais Hospital or Withybush Hospital) is to be confirmed depending on the successful applicant. Due to service requirements, the post holder will be required to work between 2 sites - Bronglais and Withybush.
Main duties of the job Working 15 hours per week, the successful candidate will be required to support the delivery of a comprehensive and quality secretarial service to the Consultants and their teams.
You will undertake a wide range of duties including receipt and distribution of mail, audio transcription, and the typing of highly sensitive letters and reports, maintaining confidentiality at all times. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent organization skills and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work. You must be able to work on your initiative, use tact and diplomacy where appropriate and possess excellent communication skills.
Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail coupled with proven secretarial skills and previous experience of medical terminology is essential. You will be required to use the Health Board's patient database system and other relevant IT packages.

Level 3 qualification (e.g., A Levels, AS Levels, NVQ3) or equivalent demonstrable experience of administrative/office skills and knowledge.
Experience of a full range of duties working in an administrative/office environment.
Knowledge of Medical/Healthcare Terminology.
Secretarial Training.
