Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care, aligning with the recovery-focused model of care promoting autonomy among service users Work both within the multidisciplinary team and autonomously to deliver high-quality care Initiate emergency interventions independently based on patient conditions Provide prescribed nursing care without supervision, referring to senior nurses when needed Support relatives, friends, and other patients/clients, acting as a compassionate team member Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to agreed standards Communicate effectively across the acute mental health service, primary care, and with families/carers Embed the principles of 6C’s: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment in all interactions Participate in training, clinical supervision, and regular team meetings Provide supervision to junior nursing staff, fostering a nurturing learning environment Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
