Come and join our forward thinking and innovative CAMHS Crisis Intervention & Home Treatment Team. Be part of a pro-active, responsive and friendly service and make a difference to children and young people's lives at the point of mental health crisis.

We are a Black Country wide service consisting of 4 locality teams. The teams consist of mental health, learning disability and children's nurses as well as social workers, Consultant psychiatrists, and clinical fellows. We have an IAPT practitioner, youth worker, STR worker, and each team has a Barnardos keyworker working with us to make up a fantastic multi-disciplinary team. We offer a service from 08:00-20:00, 7 days a week, with additional on-call duties from 20:00-08:00 to cover the 136 suite when in use and the 24/7 mental health helpline for U18's helping to support any emergency contact outside of usual working hours. The expectation is that you would undertake 3 on-call sessions per month on a rota basis. Main duties of the job

To direct and oversee the day-to-day delivery of clinical services provided by the Crisis Intervention/Home Treatment service which is inclusive of the Paediatric Liaison Service and the management of the CAMHS 136 Suite. Ensuring that the Service Manager/Clinical Lead is fully cognizant of significant day-to-day issues through effective and proactive agreed communication. To contribute to the clinical management of a team caseload of clients with complex needs, using CPA principles, evidence-based/client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions, which will be delivered mainly in the home or community setting. To support care co-ordination within the Tier 3 teams and attend relevant team meetings on behalf of the CIHTT and ensure that issues/discussions are fed back to the wider team. About us
