They are looking for a Senior Simulation and Modelling Consultant to join their Defence division. You will use innovative Simulation Modelling techniques to help their clients analyse, assess, and develop ways to mitigate some of the greatest challenges facing the UK to keep the country and its allies safe. Responsibilities will include: Scoping, directing and contributing to a wide range of evaluation and consulting engagements. Modelling of complex systems to support making judgements for public and private clients. Application of a wide range of modelling tools and techniques, including spreadsheet modelling, simulation, multi-criteria decision analysis and qualitative/soft analysis methods. Interfacing with customers to help define and clarify requirements. To be suitable for the role you will have: Strong analytical, systems thinking and problem-solving skills. Engineering, Science, or digitally focused STEM-based education and/or career. Experience using programming languages and scripting (i.e. Java, Python, VBA). Experience using, or understanding of COTS simulation, gaming products or specialist simulation tools: AnyLogic, Simul8, Simio etc. Due to the nature of the projects this role will be working on, you will need to hold DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance to be suitable for this role.
