What the role involves
- Perform a wide range of MRI examinations to a consistently high clinical standard.
- Ensure MRI safety protocols, local rules and departmental policies are adhered to at all times.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the MRI service, ensuring efficient patient flow and utilisation of resources.
- Participate in quality assurance, audit and governance activities.
- Assisting with the implementation of new techniques, technologies and service improvements.
- Supporting and mentor junior staff where required.
Skills and requirements
- HCPC Registered Radiographer.
- Minimum 3 years' UK MRI experience.
- Strong understanding of MRI safety and governance procedures.
- Cardiac MRI experience desirable but not essential.
