What the role involves

• Perform a wide range of MRI examinations to a consistently high clinical standard.
• Ensure MRI safety protocols, local rules and departmental policies are adhered to at all times.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the MRI service, ensuring efficient patient flow and utilisation of resources.
• Participate in quality assurance, audit and governance activities.
• Assisting with the implementation of new techniques, technologies and service improvements.
• Supporting and mentor junior staff where required.

Skills and requirements

• HCPC Registered Radiographer.
• Minimum 3 years' UK MRI experience.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety and governance procedures.
• Cardiac MRI experience desirable but not essential.
