An international construction and consultancy organisation that supports both public and private sector clients to deliver Net Zero decarbonisation plans and energy audits is looking to add a Senior Net Zero Consultant to join their team, leading on net zero and energy management projects.
To be considered for this role, you must have hands-on experience conducting energy and carbon audits, as well as performing options appraisals. Your technical proficiency includes expertise in evaluating decarbonization strategies and devising heat decarbonization plans.
Responsibilities:
Conducting energy and carbon audits along with options appraisals, including site visits to identify energy efficiency and low carbon projects aimed at achieving net-zero goals. Assisting in Heat Decarbonisation appraisals and the formulation of Heat Decarbonisation Plans. Identifying opportunities for reducing energy demand and implementing load shifting strategies for clients. Collaborating on the development of net-zero roadmaps tailored to clients' needs. Staying informed about advancements in low carbon technologies and innovations. Assisting in the design and implementation of toolkits and processes to ensure ongoing service improvement. Being knowledgeable about building services and interventions that contribute to achieving net zero objectives. Keeping abreast of innovations in low carbon technologies and relevant legislation affecting net zero initiatives.
