Network Engineer
to join their ICT team, supporting and maintaining network infrastructure across
260 depots, offices, and data centres . Key Responsibilities:
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot
Cisco LAN/WAN, VoIP, and Checkpoint Firewall devices . Maintain and support
Wi-Fi networks and VPNs
to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. Work with third-party providers to oversee
wide-area telecoms and voice platform security
(CUCM to Teams Voice). Ensure
firewalls, IPS, IDS, and NAC systems
are up-to-date and compliant with
PCI-DSS security standards . Provide
2nd/3rd line support , escalating issues as needed and mentoring junior IT staff. Participate in
network projects , planning and implementing infrastructure changes. On-call support
for critical business systems. Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of
Cisco networking
(preferably
CCNP-certified ). Experience with
Checkpoint Firewalls
(ideally
CCSA-certified ) and
VPN technologies . Hands-on experience with
Cisco Wireless and SIP/IP Voice systems
(CUCM & Teams Voice). Familiarity with
ITIL processes
and experience working with
third-party service providers . A
full UK driving licence
is required. This is a
hybrid role , requiring
2 days per week on-site in South Wales . If you have
