As a Senior Network Engineer, your role is to deliver, review, support, and optimise the network infrastructure. Configure, maintain, and monitor network equipment across multiple sites, including cloud environments. Oversee WAN, routers, firewalls, switches, load balancers, traffic optimizers, and wireless devices, both on-premises and in Azure. Implement and enforce physical and virtual network security procedures to safeguard the network infrastructure. Ensure all network devices are up to date with the latest patches and firmware. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues encountered by users across the organization. Monitor and ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Conduct R&D on new technologies and vendor products and run Proof of Concepts (POCs) to support business requirements. Participate in a regular on-call rota to provide after-hours support for the business. Create and maintain detailed documentation of project scopes, network designs, and configurations. Guide the team in alignment with the roadmap, providing mentoring and training to junior engineers and support teams. The Candidate

Cisco switching and routing full command knowledge. Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall experience. Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities. WiFi setup, management, and troubleshooting. Physical datacentre support, rack, stack, cabling as required.
