Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Senior NPD Technologist to join an award-winning food manufacturer. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and assisting with the transition of new products from concept to launch, through careful planning, kitchen trials, and factory trials. You will also have the opportunity to travel to suppliers and customers, and actively contribute to developing future product ideas. Key Responsibilities: Lead and assist with kitchen and factory trials, ensuring detailed data and reports are captured for accurate cost calculation. Communicate regularly with customers and lead presentations to showcase new product developments. Provide accurate technical information to support customer samples at various stages of development. Work on agreeing product specifications for new meat ingredients, ensuring pricing is added at critical stages. Hold internal meetings with key stakeholders to ensure projects meet deadlines and requirements. Take ownership of both short-term and long-term NPD projects as required. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Relevant third-level qualification in a food-related subject. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the food industry, preferably within a similar role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Desirable Experience: Experience in delivering NPD projects, specifically within the meat and added-value food sector. Familiarity with working across multiple retailers. Skills in using Canva and video editing software would be advantageous.
