Role & Responsibilities:
Support bids/proposals Contribute to developing new ideas and strategies to better manage waste Carry out research and analysis relating to waste management and characterisation Provide technical radioactive waste management expertise to support new builds, operations and decommissioning Advise on management, production, treatment, storage and packaging of radioactive waste Produce technical reports for waste strategies, project waste management plans and packaging proposals etc Mentor and support junior team members Qualifications/Experience Required:
Degree in relevant nuclear engineering, decommissioning or waste management Minimum 3 years' experience Experience in nuclear decommissioning or waste management projects Good working knowledge of UK and international law relating to radioactive waste management and characterisation Good stakeholder management skills UK National Security Vetting Status - Applicants must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.
