Main duties of the job The Senior Nurse is a visible, authoritative and professional clinical leader with responsibility for the direction of nursing, implementation of the corporate nursing agenda, enhancement/modernisation of clinical practice and development of clinical staff to optimise the patient and family experience of care. The Senior Nurse has a day to day professional and operational responsibility for a defined area/speciality, supporting the Divisional Nurse and Service Manager to assure high quality, effective and efficient patient services.
