Qualifications and Knowledge
Registered Nurse Level 1 and current NMC Registration. MSc in Nursing or equivalent experience Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Mental Health Legislation and its application in practice. Relevant post graduate courses and/or experience within specialties involved with the position. Significant knowledge of the strategic drivers for change within Mental Health Services. Evidence of continuous management development. Experience of practice development Significant knowledge of evidence-based practice and psychological interventions used within Adult Mental Health. Must have a recognised management qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience. Must have knowledge of quality improvement methodologies. Must have knowledge and understanding of current policy and issues in professional practice, compliance, standards and the wider NHS.
