Senior Occupational Health Advisor

to support the delivery of class leading service for the supply of case management, health surveillance, health screening and health promotion to clients. You will act as the Senior for a team of Occupational Health Advisors. This is a full time, permanent post to be based in the Midlands. What you’ll be doing As a Senior Occupational Health Advisor at RPS, you will lead and manage a regional clinical team who run day to day clinical operations (typically 60% clinical work 40% management) motivating, inspiring, and leading by example, escalating where necessary. Oversee the full remit of OH including case management, Fitness for Work assessments and health surveillance. Responsible for monitoring staff performance, and utilisation to assist the business to achieve financial targets, staff recruitment, and performance management. Client account management and providing both clinical and operational advice to RPS customers. Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to promote and raise awareness of RPS and identify business development opportunities. Who we’re looking for? Registered General Nurse, holding a post registration qualification in Occupational Health at Certificate Diploma or Degree level. Experienced in delivering Occupational Health services to a wide cross section of business sectors with great efficiency. Responsible for continuous professional development to maintain NMC registration. People management experience and great leadership skills. Experience of working with large stakeholder groups and communicating at all levels. Work as an independent & autonomous Senior Occupational Health Advisor. A good team player who possesses effective communication & relationship building skills. Strong working knowledge of MS office suite. Hold a current UK driving licence. What’s in it for you?
