This rewarding role will see you working within a small Occupational Therapy team providing advice and support for children, young people, and families in the Bath and North East Somerset area. We work closely with our colleagues across the service and have established partnerships with agencies across health, education, support services, and adult services to ensure we can respond as effectively as possible to the needs of children and young people.
Main duties of the job
To provide statutory occupational therapy and care planning services to vulnerable members of the community across Bath and North East Somerset, focusing on physical function and supporting equipment, to reduce the impact of ill health and disability, and improve independence, outcomes, and quality of life for individuals. The role is a fully qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist that will manage a complex caseload in addition to advising and supporting other social care professionals, working regularly in a multi-agency and inter-professional setting.
