We are looking for someone to join our team as a

Senior Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist . You will provide clinical leadership and expertise in the specialty of Oncology by providing information, support, advice, and specialist knowledge to patients, their families, and carers. You will act as a resource to the multi-professional team.

Part time:

19 hours per week.

As post holder, you will participate in the co-ordination of Oncology patient care to ensure continuity throughout the patient’s care pathway. You will be pivotal in the review and development of the service, reflecting the needs of the patient group. You will liaise closely with the healthcare teams of inpatient wards, outpatient department, and primary care, including Consultant Physicians and GPs.

You will demonstrate wide and in-depth experience of all aspects of Oncology, especially in the field of Head and Neck Cancers, whilst exercising clinical leadership and effective education within your sphere of practice.
