Senior Optical Design Engineer
to join our client's innovative team in
West Sussex . In this role, you will play a key part in the development of cutting-edge optical systems that enhance vision care and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
Optical Design & Development : Design, prototype, and test IOL's, including specification development. Technical Leadership : Lead cross-departmental project teams in developing new ophthalmic products from concept to manufacturing. Product & Process Improvement : Assess and enhance products, processes, and systems to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency. Innovation & Research : Generate and develop innovative research ideas, including next-generation products. Advanced Optics Application : Solve complex technical challenges in product development, improvement, and manufacturing. Design Verification & Validation : Develop new protocols and techniques for design verification and validation. Essential Skills:
