Our Technical and Training team provide, facilitate and co-ordinate training and development for all of our people and support the implementation of change projects, efficiency, regulation and quality improvements throughout Albert Goodman. We’re looking for a qualified individual to join this specialist team at either Senior or Assistant Manager level. You’ll be supporting with a number of key activities including practice assurance, compliance, technical support and rolling out new processes. You’ll also play a pivotal part in delivering training reviews to trainees across AG, and supporting with the delivery of training topics such as ethics. Day to day you may be developing technical training materials, supporting with the upkeep of our shared technical content, completing quality checks and annual reviews, and interacting with colleagues across the firm. Our ideal candidate is someone proactive, and with the confidence to be an ambassador for compliance and processes. Naturally, being detail oriented helps with this, along with sound communication skills and flexibility to meet the changing needs of our business. From a training perspective, you’ll need to be comfortable coaching and supporting our trainee population, as well as delivering training on a wider basis. What we need from you For you to be ACA or ACCA qualified A minimum of 3-4 years of practice experience Experience or an interest in financial reporting Experience of supporting and influencing a variety of stakeholders Confidence, and great communication skills with people of all levels High attention to detail; use of initiative and ability to work to deadlines Good planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs What we can give you in return We offer a fantastic place to work with a competitive and flexible benefits package.
