Role Overview:

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join their Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and Complex Care Inpatient Ward. This role involves delivering expert care to children with a wide range of disabilities and neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the Senior Staff Nurse will mentor junior staff and lead the unit in the absence of senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and evaluate care plans for children with complex neurological needs. Mentor and support junior nurses, stepping into leadership roles when needed. Participate in quality improvement projects and audits to enhance care standards.

What You'll Bring:

NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support. Experience in Paediatric Nursing. Desirable: Experience with tracheostomy care. Strong communication and clinical governance skills, with an understanding of safeguarding issues.
