Senior Paramedic

to join our

Primary Care

team at

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.

You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.

Hours

The site currently offers a 24-hour service with the following shift patterns:

Monday to Wednesday - 9.00 to 17.00

Thursday and Friday - 9.00 to 14.00

Salary

This position is full time. You’ll receive an annual salary up to £ XXX

per annum (FTE) - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis, and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

What you'll be doing

Provide clinical leadership to a small team of paramedics

Have an individual approach to all patients, providing triage, minor illness and minor injury assessment

Undertake the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care, within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/blocks

Perform procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care, and cardiac & CVA intervention

Qualifications required

Qualified Paramedic and registered with the HCPC with post qualification experience

ILS training and certificates

Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and ongoing competence in all aspects of the role

Evidence of working autonomously and as part of a team

Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
