Are you a natural relationship builder and sales professional looking for an impactful role? Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity is hiring for a Senior Partnerships Development Executive to join our Partnership Development team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to support efforts to generate millions of pounds and support the hospital’s work and impact the lives of seriously ill children. Salary The salary for this position is £34,897 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identifying and engaging with major companies across the UK to establish significant partnerships. Securing new sources of income through innovative fundraising initiatives. Managing new partnership enquiries. Cultivating and managing a pipeline of potential corporate partners to achieve strategic objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Experience of generating new business, from prospect identification to securing new deals/partnerships. Experience of creative and successful written proposals/pitches for 5-figure asks. Ability to react quickly and flexibly to adapt, change or capitalise on new opportunities. Some experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and evidence of building and developing relationships with prospects. An understanding of the principles of fundraising and experience in the charity sector is highly beneficial for this position but not essential. About the team

You’ll be joining a high-performing Partnerships Development team with ambitions to raise over £3M per year and are committed to our strategy to support the building of the Children’s Cancer Centre. This role sits within a sub-team of three, including a Senior Partnerships Development Manager, a Partnerships Development Manager and a Senior Partnerships Development Executive (this role).
