Waters, the world's leading specialty measurement company that cares about inclusion and diversity, is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer based at the Wilmslow, Manchester facility. Working within the Waters division team, you will design and support the development of Mass Spectrometry products. This position requires operating in a highly entrepreneurial, small team environment where multi-tasking and flexible thinking are critical. The work pattern for this position will be hybrid (at least three days per week from the Wilmslow facility). Responsibilities

Design of single sided, double sided, and multi-layer PCBs. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to define PCB requirements and specifications. Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, layout files, cables, and assembly drawings. Conduct investigations into PCB quality or manufacturability problems and implement any necessary changes. Peer checking of engineering documentation, ECRs, and drawings if requested by the Design Manager. Qualifications

Education: Degree in Electronics, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent commercial experience. IPC CID Certification. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in PCB design, with a strong understanding of PCB technology, materials, and fabrication. Experience of working within a recognised quality system. Competencies: Proficiency in CAD software Mentor Graphics Xpedition. Understanding of electronic circuits and the ability to interpret circuit diagrams. Excellent communication, analysis, and decision-making skills. Follow EMC design guidelines, such as those provided by industry standards and manufacturers, to ensure compliance. Desirable: Experience in Capital Wiring Designer Essentials. Experience of working with SAP.
