A leading claims management company based in Huddersfield is seeking a Senior RTA Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional with a strong background in multi-track Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases to handle a varied caseload in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of multi-track and fast-track RTA claims from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and correspond with clients, third parties, and insurers to progress cases efficiently.
Prepare cases for litigation and ensure full compliance with Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
Negotiate settlements with third parties while ensuring clients receive the best possible outcome.
Attend court hearings where necessary and manage all aspects of case preparation, including instructing counsel.
Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients, maintaining high standards of client care throughout the process.
Ensure cases are handled efficiently, meeting performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Keep up to date with relevant case law, regulations, and industry developments to provide accurate and effective legal advice.
Requirements:
Experience in handling multi-track RTA cases.
Strong knowledge and understanding of RTA litigation processes, including experience in both multi-track and fast-track claims.
Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, ensuring attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
