Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria

Mathematics and English at GCSE level or functional skills level 2 Desirable criteria

Understanding of basic professional purchasing principles & procurement technology Training for computer skills Experience Essential criteria

Experience of working in an office environment Desirable criteria

Experience of working in a purchasing/invoice environment Experience of working in a pharmaceutical environment Skills and Knowledge Essential criteria

Computer literacy & keyboard skills (including use of all common Microsoft office programs) Desirable criteria

Knowledge of Pharmacy & Homecare Understanding of systems used for pharmaceutical ordering, receipt & stock control Other Essential criteria

Able to work with a high level of concentration and attention to detail to operate on screen computerised ordering system Ability to cope with large unpredictable workloads in a timely, efficient and reliable manner.
