The Pharmacy Logistics team at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) are looking for a well-organised individual with warehouse or supervisory experience to help evolve our sterile fluids & feeds services. The role involves maintaining the daily workload to meet time restraints and organising the fluid & feed area to maximise space. This job is physically demanding, requiring lifting fluids & feeds up to 20kg per box and involves repetitive tasks. Daily responsibilities include liaising with other hospital teams such as distribution operatives and dieticians to keep up with demand. About us

NVQ 2 in Pharmacy or other Level 2 approved GPhC qualification for pharmacy support staff or equivalent experience Supervisory qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience of supervision 2 GCSE's or equivalent grades A* - C or 4-9 in English and Maths Other healthcare qualifications GCSEs in science-based or other role-specific relevant subjects Previous or relevant experience necessary

Use of information technology in the workplace or within education or voluntary sector Previous pharmacy experience (hospital or community) or supervisory experience Previous experience in health or social care (if not pharmacy) Experience in stock control (receiving, maintaining, and/or issuing stock) Clinical trials or research experience (Clinical trials only) Use of till and/or handling money in a work environment (RSH posts only) Aptitudes and skills required

Customer service skills in the workplace or voluntary sector Effective communication in English, both spoken and written Able to demonstrate the ability to pass Numeracy test at interview Ability to follow procedures Attention to detail and accurate working Able to work independently and prioritise work Motivated, self-reliant, and organised Adaptable, particularly in busy, noisy, and changing environments Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure Disclosure and Barring Service Check
