With a National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent Pharmacy Technician qualification and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council, applicants should also have significant post qualification experience. The post holder would be expected to participate in the Medicines Information and Advice Training Programme (MIATP). Excellent communication, IT, time management and organisational skills are essential and experience of medicines management or medicines information / formulary and working with GPs or other prescribers would be an advantage. You should be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
