Senior Physiotherapist - Pelvic Health

Up to £39,520.00 per annum (Pro rata), dependent on experience

Our Physiotherapy team in Glasgow currently have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist specialising in Pelvic Health.

As part of the team you will have clinical support available from your Regional clinical lead along with Physiotherapists, with leadership from the management team on site. You will have a CPD budget to encourage you to continue your learning and striving for clinical excellence.

The Role

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy Team. You will see a range of pelvic health patients including urogynaecology, colorectal and post-operative and a mixture of insurance and self-pay. You will develop close working relationships with the consultants at our hospitals in Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton to provide the patients with truly connected healthcare.


We envisage that the hours may be increased as the service develops. Potential for additional hours in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy may also become available if applicant is keen and has maintained professional development in this area.


You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients.

To succeed as a Senior Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

  • Ideally you'll have 2 years' minimum experience in Women's Health (experience in Men's Health would be an advantage).

  • You will have evidence of experience & further professional training in Pelvic Health and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.

  • Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.

  • Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills

  • Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
