Job overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 7 Physiotherapist with a passion for general physical rehabilitation to work within NELFT's London-based Inpatient rehabilitation unit supporting patients to recover after illness and injury. As the Band 7 physiotherapist within inpatient rehabilitation, you will lead the physiotherapy team, supporting them by providing training, supervision, and joint sessions. You will have a caseload of rehabilitation patients, as well as an overview of the wards and other physiotherapists' caseloads. You will work closely with the band 8a managers to ensure governance is in place and maintained, strongly focusing on clinical excellence and putting the patients at the heart of everything we do. Main duties of the job To work flexibly and assist in effective and efficient delivery of the service. To prioritise workload, delegate, and supervise more junior staff including support staff and students, to aid provision of high standards of patient care. To assess and be able to offer advice on the physiotherapy needs of a defined patient group and establish and evaluate appropriate treatment plans. This includes chronic, acute, and palliative care within own competencies, recognising own limitations and seeking advice when necessary. To be involved with continuous service improvement working within the team to ensure best practice at all times.
