We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified physiotherapist to join our Children's Therapy Service working in our Chorley and South Ribble Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking paediatric Physiotherapist looking for their next challenge. This post is suitable for an experienced physiotherapist who has a real desire to work with children and young people between the age of 0-19 providing assessment and treatment on a number of clinical pathways including MSK, Early Years, Coordination Difficulties, Neurological and Long Term Conditions. Education/ Qualifications
Professional Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy Current Professional Registration with HCPC Knowledge
Understanding of clinical governance framework & implications for practice, including audit and research governance Knowledge of a broad range of assessment tools for children with diverse needs. Experience
Evidence of recent and relevant post-graduate experience encompassing the specialist field of practice that demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of specialist area/transferable relevant skills Multi-disciplinary/multi-agency collaborative working Experience of working with children with complex needs and their families in community/non-clinical settings Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal Able to work independently as lead specialist Work Related Circumstances
Ability to comply with the travel requirements of the post. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year (Per Annum Pro Rata)
