Working Pattern: Permanent/ Full Time
As the Senior Piping Designer, you will:
Have experience of performing studies, FEED, and detail design of piping fabrications in an EPC environment or client role is highly preferred.
Have worked in a brownfield environment/project preferred.
Be knowledgeable of offshore piping layout requirements (Design, Safety, Construction and installation and maintenance aspects).
In-depth experience of offshore safety regulations and construction requirements.
Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of 2D drafting standards, in-depth experience of piping drawings requirements/presentation.
Produce and design checking piping plot plan, piping, and equipment general arrangement drawings.
Producing and design checking piping detail (fabrication) drawings (piping isometrics and pipe supports).
Have experience in using and interacting with cloud data to develop piping design and clash check. Previous experience in using ReCAP pro or LFM would be preferred.
Generate and design checking piping survey scope of work and liaison with DC team for laser scan as well as tie-in survey.
Understand and have knowledge of tie-in survey data and implementing in detailed design deliverables (flange face orientation/deflection etc.).
Liaise closely with other disciplines to ensure all equipment requirements and vendor data are addressed in the design, specification of equipment, construction sequencing, and commissioning.
Provide value-adding knowledge to constructability reviews and take consideration of layout restrictions, ergonomics, safety, utilities, and maintainability.
