Overview of what you will be doing We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Piping Engineer to join our team in Falkirk, Scotland. As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and implementation of piping systems for a range of projects. From concept through to completion, you will utilize your expertise to deliver solutions that meet technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and engineering of piping systems, including layout, routing, and material selection, in accordance with industry standards and project requirements. Conduct detailed analysis and calculations to ensure the structural integrity, performance, and safety of piping systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including process engineers, mechanical engineers, and designers, to develop comprehensive solutions that integrate seamlessly with overall project objectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering their professional development and growth. Participate in project meetings, reviews, and discussions, offering insights and recommendations to optimize design efficiency and performance. Liaise with clients, vendors, and contractors to address technical inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project specifications and deliverables. What you will bring to Engenda Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in piping engineering, with a focus on design, analysis, and implementation of piping systems for industrial projects. Proven ability to lead and manage complex piping projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
