To direct and maximise customer service levels whilst maintaining optimised target stock levels through efficient production scheduling. Support Bradford site vision, to be the home of operational excellence and the customer’s first choice soft drinks manufacturer. Principal Accountabilities

Be supportive, act with integrity, show enthusiasm and embrace openness. Have an understanding of the Princes Manufacturing System (PMS) and maturity matrix, and site must win battle plans. Understand and implement lean manufacturing work practices including 5S, to drive continuous improvement activity at site. Produce and maintain production plans to meet forecast and actual sales demand for Bradford and Glasgow sites. Chair & facilitate the weekly Engineering and projects downtime meeting. Support project work, with scenario planning and commissioning work. Control delist, provisions, and wastage processes for site target to eliminate wastage. Focus medium to long-term planning horizon for scenario, budget planning, and planned changes. Manage and control APO master data for the site, ensuring all changes are planned between departments. Define and maintain stock holding parameters to provide economic production and purchasing profiles, whilst meeting centrally agreed stock targets. Manipulate production schedules to ensure efficient usage of people, plant, and materials. Own and drive the day-to-day process of averting potential shortages. Plan and control activities of external contracts for multi-packaging. Schedule bulk material orders to support production plans, liaising with suppliers balancing stock and lead times. Provide support cover for the planning team. Seek efficiency improvements in methods of planning and scheduling through effective utilisation of SAP ECC, MES & APO functionality, controlling all MRP planning relevant material master. Generate and issue forecast information to key suppliers. These are the key daily tasks, not a comprehensive list of all tasks undertaken by the jobholder. Flexibility is required by the business & this will be agreed with the individual’s line manager. All employees should carry out their duties in a responsible manner giving due consideration to Safety, Environmental & Quality procedures. Contribute to the health & safety of self and others by applying health and safety principles to the required standards whilst undertaking designated tasks. General Responsibilities

Understanding and implementation of lean manufacturing work practices including 5S, AM, and problem-solving (including root cause analysis), to drive continuous improvement activity throughout the site. You must exercise reasonable skill and care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work and you must not interfere with or obstruct anything provided in the interests of health and safety at work. The incumbent should demonstrate behaviours which are in line with the site values & help to improve the Quality, Safety & Environmental culture. Support the business in working towards delivering our ethical trading and human rights vision. When engaging with internal and external stakeholders (such as consumers, customers, or suppliers) maximise any potential opportunities to communicate Princes’ ethical trade and human rights approach. Role Requirements

The position requires a fundamental understanding and experience of the major aspects of integrated planning software: Production Planning, Materials Requirements Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Capacity Planning, Master Production Scheduling. Ability to develop & maintain effective communications to ensure accurate & timely information is known & available to key factory personnel & Group Head Office. Advanced knowledge of planning and supply chain in an FMCG environment. Ability to communicate with staff and management at all levels. Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage own workload to meet agreed deadlines.
