The

Senior Planner/Team Lead

is responsible for ensuring efficient working methods and procedures within the planning team. Key responsibilities include assessing team performance, adjusting processes, coaching and guiding team members, managing key issues, and preparing KPI reports. The Senior Planner also collaborates with other departments, optimizes production capacity, monitors product availability, and participates in cross-functional projects. What will I be doing? Responsible for efficient working methods and procedures. Assesses performances, adjusts, instructs and educates (coaches and guides). Manages key issues that occur. Responsible for KPI reports (Daily tracker, OTIF, Inventory). Pilot the planning Team to reach Excellence in Service. Supports the Supply Planner to have the right MTS/MTO Strategy and correct SS in place. Identifies problems, sets priorities and coordinates with scheduling, material call off, transport, and customer care. Composes overviews in relation to actual orders and actual production orders. Makes proposals and prepares concrete plans to utilise production capacity optimally. Monitors/manages the availability of products in middle to long term. Support calls with internal & external customers when required. Work with the demand planning team to improve Forecast Accuracy and with External sites to ensure Forecast is flowing through the system. Collects, organises and analyses the orders, production, and supply information. Informs production about the capacity plan. Coordination of orders between customer care and production including optimization of delivery dates. Work with Logistic Manager to ensure timely deliveries and no issues on WH space / workload. Composes various overviews and gives explanations. Analyses and explains deviations. Development and optimization of planning processes and parameters. Setup planning parameters for new products. Participate in bi-weekly NPI meetings. Participation in cross-functional projects. What do I need in order to be successful? Strong professional experience in planning - preferably in Food / Drink Industry. Previous managing people experience would be preferred. Business Degree / or CIPS / Part Qualified. SAP Experience preferred, or experience in capacity planning on ERP systems. Strong Communication skills. Excellent analytical skills required. This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will have some direct reports. This individual will be required to work closely with Production and other functions to ensure the KPIs are met.
