Role: Senior Planner Contract: Temp to Perm Salary: £17.82 umbrella rate Location: Walton, KT22 Sector: Social Housing

Purpose of the role: To manage the planning teams and provide an effective and efficient service and to support the work of the Service Delivery teams. Manage the workload of planners, to ensure the most efficient and profitable management of all works.

Day to Day duties:

Manage and oversee all aspects of operational administration being carried out by your direct reports. Produce weekly performance reports including gathering, recording, and checking accuracy to achieve KPI success. Oversee and support the Scheduling Teams in the allocation and booking of works. Ensure Accuserv is utilized in closing down jobs to secure month-end application, and that supporting paperwork is in place to back up applications. Successful management of dashboards and works in progress to comply with KPI requirements. Liaise and report any risks to jobs to the service delivery manager. Maintain correspondence, telephone, and email protocol. Oversee your team and offer support in raising and inputting works orders in accordance with contract requirements. Ensure prompt resolution of queries & complaints received by phone, fax, email, and letter are dealt with in line with service standards. Check all operatives have confirmed their work by 8.30 am and tenants are informed of any potential delay by no later than 9 am. Check system for emergencies every 30 minutes and issue emergencies in a timely manner to ensure targets are met. Ensure diaries are full daily and immediate attention is given when operatives become free and work is allocated as soon as possible, scheduling works into diaries for up to 35 operatives daily. Booking appointments with residents. Dealing with further works whilst operatives are on site and arranging appointments. Respond to telephone variations by seeking approval from the duty surveyor so operatives may continue on the site through to completion and update the system. Requirements: Social Housing experience.
