Stanstead We are seeking a dedicated Senior Planning Manager to become a key member of a well-established Planning & Design team. This role involves working closely with the Director of Planning, taking responsibility for your own projects while providing support and guidance to other team members. You will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of planning activities and the successful delivery of high-quality developments. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage planning projects, ensuring alignment with the site values within the Project Cost Plans and contributing to both departmental and corporate objectives. Provide strategic planning advice and guidance to team members, including mentorship to junior planners and planning secretaries. Drive continuous improvement in the planning process, ensuring high standards of delivery and project success. Stay informed on current and emerging planning legislation and regulations that impact development potential for both current and future sites. What You'll Need:
Significant experience in planning, ideally in a senior role, with the ability to manage complex planning projects. Strong leadership skills, with a proactive approach to guiding and supporting team members. A deep understanding of planning processes, legislation, and the regulatory environment. Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills.
