Hybrid We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Portfolio Solutions Consultant (Jira Align Specialist) to join our Clients dynamic team in Belfast. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools in a fast-paced financial environment. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of technical experience in software/financial systems, with a proven track record of delivering results in complex, regulated industries. Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new portfolios into Jira Align. Define portfolio-specific workflows and ensure alignment with strategic business goals. Customize Jira Align settings to fit diverse portfolio needs. Design and implement integrations between Jira Align and other enterprise tools, including Jira Software, Confluence, financial systems, and trading platforms. Develop and maintain APIs to enable seamless data synchronization. Drive user adoption by conducting tailored training sessions, workshops, and creating user-specific resources. Monitor engagement metrics and provide iterative feedback to enhance tool usability. Build and maintain custom dashboards and reports in Jira Align. Deliver actionable insights into portfolio health, financial impacts, and delivery progress using advanced reporting capabilities. Key Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of Jira Align and its API capabilities; proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript for API development; strong background integrating Jira Align with fintech or trading tools. Portfolio Management Knowledge:
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale portfolios in regulated industries; strong understanding of financial impacts on portfolio decisions; familiarity with scaled agile frameworks like SAFe or LeSS. User Engagement and Communication:
Proven success in driving Jira Align adoption across organizations; expertise in creating custom reports and dashboards tailored to stakeholder needs; excellent interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical users. Analytical Thinking:
Ability to derive actionable insights from data and support strategic decision-making.
