Manchester We are currently partnering with a growing accountancy firm in Manchester that is looking for a proactive Senior Accountant to join their team. This firm provides expert financial support to a diverse client base and is seeking a talented individual to manage client accounts and deliver high-quality tax and financial services. The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to oversee a portfolio of businesses, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with experience in general practice and a strong ability to build client relationships. You will be instrumental in building up the practice and shaping the future of the firm. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare year-end accounts, management accounts, and corporation tax returns. Provide tax planning advice and support clients during HMRC audits. Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow optimisation. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies. Contribute to business growth and development opportunities. Requirements:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with general practice experience. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Birthday off after 12 months. Additional annual leave after two years' service. Opportunity for bonus and potential shares after 12 months.
