Nottingham City EPS Working in Nottingham means working in a culturally vibrant and diverse city. Our dynamic approach ensures EPs mainly engage in traded and early intervention work, with a small portion of time dedicated to statutory duties, offering a varied and engaging work experience. All members of the team have time to be involved in delivering training (such as ELSA), projects, or other development work within the service and across the City and regularly work together to facilitate processes such as Circles of Adults and MAPs. About the Role

Senior Practitioner EPs are part of our extended leadership team. As well as providing a high-quality offer to local settings, children, and families, they also hold leadership responsibility for a defined aspect of service delivery. Specific areas of responsibility are negotiable but will be linked with current or emerging priorities within the local area. Successful candidates can expect to lead key initiatives within the service, as well as be engaged in problem-solving with local stakeholders to analyze and develop responses to such issues. In addition to leading on an aspect of service delivery, Senior Practitioner EPs also provide supervision to our Year 2 and 3 Trainee Educational Psychologists. We are looking for qualified Educational Psychologists who are ready to take on their first leadership role or who are looking to take on new challenges. The equivalent of 1.6 Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist posts are available. About You

The ideal candidate will have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership abilities Skills for planning and delivering change Commitment to service improvement A consultative, problem-solving approach Creative approach to psychological practice Excellent written communication, IT skills, and organizational skills A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
