We are looking to recruit to a permanent Senior Practitioner post within the Short-Term Assessment and Reablement team in South Derbyshire. Qualifications and Experience

We welcome applicants with a Social Work or Occupational Therapy qualification and with experience of working in an Adult Social Work setting. An effective communicator with the ability to lead the development of an integrated approach is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a person-centred and strength-based approach to support individuals in living independently within their homes and communities. Experience in a collaborative multidisciplinary working environment is required to assist individuals in returning home or remaining in their homes following a period of ill health or change in needs. Knowledge and Skills

The successful candidate will need to have knowledge of current legislation, policy, and procedures that underpin good practice and quality assurance. An understanding and experience of Safeguarding principles and practice are essential. Additionally, the successful candidate must support the learning and development of team members at all levels.
