Oliver James is seeking a talented Senior Pricing Actuary to join a renowned global leader in the reinsurance industry. This role offers the chance to work closely with the Head of Pricing to enhance and design pricing models and processes across all reinsurance lines, while leading on complex transactions and strategic initiatives. Competitive Salary Package & Benefits Key Responsibilities: Lead on transactions and deals, focusing on complex deals, technical pricing, and heading the longevity product line. Mentor and support team members while assisting the Head of Reinsurance Pricing in advancing strategic initiatives. Develop and refine pricing models across all reinsurance lines. Price and evaluate the profitability of large, complex treaties. Adapt pricing models in response to changing market dynamics and advancements. Manage a wide range of complex deals requiring first-principles thinking. Experience Required: Qualified Actuary with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and strong exam progression. Strong background in reinsurance pricing, with experience in longevity or Bulk Purchase Annuities (BPA) pricing preferred. Experience with European transactions considered a plus. Proven experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
