Overview As result of continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer (IC Design) to join the expanding Product Development team at Pragmatic Semiconductor and fulfil the role of Technical Lead for upcoming IC Design-based developments. Reporting to the VP Product Development, the role will involve 'cradle to grave (specification to production)’ technical responsibility for a Product. The Technical Lead will be performing a high-profile role in the company, driving all technical decisions and providing direction to design teams. Additionally, they will be the primary contact for all technical related queries to adjacent engineering disciplines. This will be an ideal role for an exceptional design engineer in the field of semiconductor IC device product development who is seeking to broaden their expertise beyond IC Design and play a key role in expanding our product portfolio and design offering. The successful candidate will be structured, methodical, tenacious, confident, collaborative and influential - therefore we are looking for candidates with these qualities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us during a very exciting time in our journey. Key tasks

Review Marketing and Product Requirement Documents with a view to ensuring the asks are realisable. Create internally facing technical specifications used as input by design teams Act as key interface for all engineering teams (e.g. IC Design, Test Development, Application Engineering, Operations) Drive the IC architecture, block-level specs and key design choices Technical authority for all formal design reviews, and for characterisation/validation plans and results First point of contact within engineering for RMAs - driving design / test / process changes, if required Unblock technical barriers faced by Engineering teams Chair project Change Review Board Support ‘lead’ customer engagements through creating and presenting technical material as required Act as technical reviewer of lead customer product design (e.g. PCB design, BOM choices etc) Support Product Management with collateral Provide meaningful impact into product roadmaps Be a positive role model/mentor for junior team members, and an outstanding ambassador for our values Qualifications and training Ideally you will be degree qualified (Maths, Engineering, Computing etc) or will possess equivalent experience.
