I am working with National Consultancies in Bristol, Sheffield, and Nottingham offices to help build their Transport Planning team. They are looking for a Senior Transport Planner or Principal Transport Planner to join the established team and deliver a range of development planning schemes.

Founded over 30 years ago, this Employee Owned Trust consultancy now has 8 offices across England and is involved in a variety of Planning and Civil Engineering services. In this role as a Senior / Principal Transport Planner, you will be expected to deliver Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and some Junction Models to clients across the country. Understanding not just what data you need to get across but why, and using the transport data to successfully deliver planning applications with the wider teams.

As an employee-owned trust, if eligible, you will become a 'part owner' of the consultancy and be rewarded with tax-free bonuses dependent on the company performance.

This role as a Transport Planner can give you the experience of business development from the outset. This consultancy will give you the opportunity as a Senior / Principal Transport Planner to work directly with the client, and as your career progresses, this experience is invaluable when applying for Associate positions.

Senior / Principal Transport Planner Requirements

Degree in a relevant subject, e.g., Geography. Experience in completing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Site Access Appraisals, and Travel Plans, and experience in highway/junction design. Strong report writing and communication skills. A confident user of ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, Tempro, and AutoCAD is required.

If interested in this role, but would like to find out more before formally applying, please contact Taylor Smith at Calibre Search Manchester.
