What you’ll do Reporting into the Head of Privacy and Information Management, you will provide expert privacy and information management policy, advice, and guidance to all areas of DLG. As a Senior Privacy and Information Manager, your role involves providing subject matter expertise to Direct Line Group business areas, ensuring success through building credible relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Providing subject matter expert policy advice and guidance to DLG business areas, focusing on UK GDPR, Data Protection Act, PECR, and associated matters. Ensuring identified P&IM risks and issues are well managed to satisfy legal and regulatory requirements. Keeping Privacy & Data Protection and Information management minimum standards up to date and coherent with other information policies. Maintaining Group-wide data privacy notices. Development of the wider team through knowledge transfer. Developing, implementing, and maintaining training and content material relating to P&IM. What we are looking for Detailed working knowledge of key Privacy legislation and regulation including UK GDPR, DPA 2018, and e-Privacy directive. Strong knowledge of digital marketing and online advertising technologies. Good knowledge of key information management principles and concepts. Ability to provide accurate reports using data and metrics to lead to the right recommendations and decisions. Either completed or working towards privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, PC.dp (or equivalent). Experience of working in a highly regulated industry would be beneficial.
