Private Sector Housing Officer
We are seeking a skilled Private Sector Housing Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the delivery of housing enforcement standards, ensuring private sector residential accommodation meets statutory standards. The role involves inspecting and licensing Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), undertaking regular inspections of all HMOs, and assessing properties using the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS). You will also carry out effective day-to-day management and maintenance of the Council owned Hever Road Gypsy and Traveller site and its facilities. We offer a competitive salary range of
£40,000 - £55,000 per annum , depending on experience.
