We have a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our team in Irvine!
The successful candidate will play a vital role in our process engineering design on multi-disciplinary engineering projects for various clients/industries.
Typical deliverables include:
Develop process basis of design Develop and check PFDs/P&IDs Perform and check engineering calculations as required e.g. hydraulics, pressure relief Carry out equipment sizing/specification, including datasheet preparation and checking Prepare and check other relevant documentation e.g. equipment lists, line lists Participate in process safety activities as required, e.g. HAZOP, LOPA etc. Liaise with vendors/equipment suppliers for technical support and quotations Liaise and collaborate with other engineering disciplines where required e.g. instruments and electrical, mechanical and piping, control systems Liaise with client personnel where required e.g. client process engineers, plant operations personnel, client management Provide support to more junior team members e.g. Process Engineers and Graduates Collaborate with other team members, including project managers, to ensure effective project delivery Assist with project estimation and tendering Experience of using Aspen Hysys preferable but not essential
